Switching to BackerKit for Surveys

Good morning my lovelies!
My apologies for the delay in sending the surveys. I have been going back and fourth with Kickstarter support as their new Pledge Manager collects VAT at checkout, but I am not registered to take VAT - I do not meet the threshold. Kickstarter have been unable to tell me what happens with the money taken as tax at the pledge manager stage, whether they forward it to the government as a tax proxy or if it comes to me with all the other funds. For this reason, I have chosen to move to BackerKit for the surveys since there are penalties involved for charging tax without a registered VAT number.
It is disappointing as the new platform looks good and I was looking forward to trying it! Luckily I am very familiar with BackerKit, and should be able to get the surveys set up today. Once approved, they'll be on there way later in the week. I will post again once they are sent!

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for making this campaign such a huge success, I am excited to bring these pin designs to life! Both the gold and rainbow sets were funded, so you will be able to choose from all of these designs when completing your surveys.
What Happens Next?
Surveys creation is complete and ready to go, I am just waiting for payment processing to be finished before sending them. I am hoping this will be done so I can send everything on Monday! I have not used Kickstarter's pledge manager system before but it looks easy to navigate, so hopefully you won't have any trouble.
A Note For Set Tier Backers
For any one who has backed for the gold, rainbow or both sets - Due to the way I set up the items, your survey will ask you which designs you would like. Please only choose the designs associated with the set in your pledge! The reason these tiers are the best value is because they allow me to pack orders more quickly. If you have used add-ons for additional designs, of course you can choose outside of your set for these. Hopefully when you have the surveys you will see what I mean, for future campaigns I will set them up differently, so apologies to set backers this time round! It's all a learning curve when new systems come into play😊
US Backers - Tariff Info
As mentioned before, US backers will be charged for their tariffs and handling fees alongside shipping. This will avoid you having to pay extra duties when your package arrives! This is all set up and should happen automatically at checkout.

New Stretch Goal Announced! Plus a note on shipping countries and tariffs

Both the Rainbow Plated and Gold Plated sets have been unlocked, so it is time to announce our next stretch goal!!
Featuring beautiful holographic or glitter effects, these acrylic keychains will come with a golden, star shaped clip for attaching them wherever you heart desires. They will range from 70-85mm, sized to look good as a matching set. Once we get close to this goal, I will create keychain add-ons - these will be priced at £8 each or £40 for the set of six!
Should we smash through this goal, I will add a NEW DESIGN stretch goal! This will unlock at £4000 and automatically include a gold and rainbow plated version of the design to match whichever set you are collecting.
Shipping Countries and Tariffs
Just a note to clarify which countries I am shipping to with this campaign, as there seems to be some confusion. The pledge tiers have a drop down menu which tells you where I am shipping, which is to the following countries:
- United Kingdom
- Australia
- Canada
- China
- Mexico
- New Zealand
- Switzerland
- United States
- Hong Kong
I cannot ship to the EU or countries outside of this list at this time - sorry! You may be able to purchase the pins from my online store at a later date.
USA TARIFF UPDATE! It will be possible to pay tariffs up front to avoid additionally surcharges. These will be charged alongside shipping after the campaign has finished. My products are made in the UK so will be subject to a 10% tariff.
